Arsenal transfer news: £40m Chelsea battle, Mkhitaryan contract message, Emery prediction All the latest news and transfer gossip coming from Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery could land Leon Bailey before the end of the summer with negotiations expected to go ahead next week.

The Gunners have had a busy window so far, landing Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
And The Sun claim Arsenal will hold talks with Leverkusen over Bailey next week as they line up their sixth signing.
However, Arsenal could face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea who are also keen to land the young Jamaican.
Bailey, also a target for Roma, is said to be valued at around £40m by Leverkusen.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has urged Aaron Ramsey to settle his contract dispute quickly and become an Arsenal legend.
The Welshman is out of contract at the end of the season and is no closer to agreeing new terms with the club.
“He has been at this club for 10 years already and it seems he has become a symbol for this club,” Mkhitaryan said.
“I will be very happy for him if he is going to sign a new contract because he is [part of the] history of Arsenal already and I hope he can become a legend.
“That’s why I am going to be very happy if he stays at this club.”
Emery’s style of play will suit Arsenal and bring trophies back to the Emirates, says former Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
"He’s the right man for Arsenal to bring them to more success," he told the Evening Standard.
"I watched a lot of games when he was in charge of PSG and I liked the way his team was playing the ball around the pitch from the back with the keepers, through the defenders, midfielders and attackers.
"They always controlled the game and the ball was moving on the pitch not in the air and I think what he’s going to do with Arsenal.
"He will be even better at Arsenal because Arsenal are always trying to control the game with short passes and moving together up the pitch.
“So it’s a perfect place for him to develop his vision of the game and I think he’s going to have success there."
